Growing up, I never really had the chance to travel much, but I always felt drawn to the world outside.
Becoming cabin crew changed everything.
Through my colleagues, I discovered new cultures, new perspectives, and places I would have never experienced otherwise.
Some of the most inspiring moments happened during layovers: sitting in a bar somewhere in the world, meeting crews from completely different airlines and countries, instantly connecting through this shared lifestyle.
And over the years, I kept asking myself:
why doesn't a global crew community already exist?
There were social media groups and scattered chats, but no real international space built specifically for airline crews. A place to share recommendations, connect, discover cities together, and make crew life feel more connected.
The idea stayed in the back of my mind for years.
Then the pandemic happened.
Suddenly, flying stopped and I had more time than ever before.
What had always been "just an idea" slowly became something real.
I started learning app design from scratch (user experience, interfaces, product thinking) because I wanted to build something that genuinely felt useful for crew life.
Around that time, I spent a lot of time with my brother, who has a strong background in coding and backend development.
The more we talked about the vision, the more naturally it became a shared project.
Over the following years, we spent countless hours building, testing, learning, improving, and figuring out what Crewnify could become.
Today, we're preparing to launch.
Not just to build another app,
but to give something back to the community that has given me so much over the years.
Because Crewnify was never just about travel.
It was always about people.
